It was stated by Jakarta Deputy Governor, Rano Karno, on his review of school introduction period in SMAN 6, Jalan Mahakam, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Tuesday (7/15).
Implementation of Free Schools Awaits Central Regulations, Pramono SaysRano said the trial in 40 private schools will be able to accommodate 4,932 students of elementary up to senior high school.
"The Gubernatorial Regulation is being made," he said, Tuesday (7/15).
Rano added the regulation is made as legal requirements for program implementation. It aims to avoid misunderstanding regarding technical implementation.
According to him, the drafting process has entered the harmonization stage with the city council and the ranks of Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as Ministry of Home Affairs.
"The harmonization process is important for smooth implementation," he stated.
